Let your space inspire YOU…
I realized a little while back that this was my home! Not my Mom’s, my Mimi’s or Martha Stewarts.
For so long I had been decorating my home the way that I thought I was supposed to. I was sitting in my dining room one day and thought “That hallway is so dark I wish I could paint a mural on it” and then I thought ” well, what is stopping me? Why not” I sat there for awhile longer drinking my coffee, looking at my Blah wall and trying to decide why I shouldn’t just do it!
Billy came downstairs at 7:30 am to find me painting a giant sun and moon down our hallway…lol

So, that was the beginning and I am no where near done. I may make a light fixture out of dried fruit or paint my floor green, I’m not sure yet. I do know that I want my house to represent me and my family.
When I add, paint, create something in or for our home, if it is something that really represents us and isn’t comforming to the “norm”,
I feel like I’m adding “A little Pixie Dust”
Added a little ” Pixie Dust” to my laundry room recently. I decided to wallpaper with all of these beautiful watercolor painting my girls are creating. Makes my laundry room a little bit more inviting ( which says a lot..lol) I LOVE it!!
Why not let your home be what you want it to be…express your self in your space. Allow it to inspire YOU, Motivate YOU & be what YOU need for you and your family. Let go of what it “normal” and add a little Pixie Dust.
