11/16/2011 Bella was killed by a hawk this morning. I have been crying off and on since it happened. She was so sweet and a good friend to us. I don’t want to go on and on and make myself look ridiculous. I will just say…I’m sad and I’m going to miss her:(

7-29-2012 It’s a sad day on this little farm. We lost our sweet, beautiful, loving dog today. He has been such a good friend to me, a play mate to my children and a great protector of the other animals. Really, there has never been such a good dog, we will all miss him greatly. We have dug many holes on this property to bury many beloved animals but this is by far the hardest hole we have had to dig. We miss you, Big guy and I hope you know how very much we love you, Barefoot Five

12/25/11 A new addition to the Barefoot Five Farm:)) We love our new friend, Blitzen!! Hopefully she will grow up and be a friend to our sweet Gringo.
