Well, maybe we could be labeled if you just called us…”different” or Un-labeled! I have a feeling we will never fit into a particular category. That just is! We are such a weird mix of characters…..You can not label me or my family, so you might want to stop trying, you’re going to exhaust yourself and get no where. Okay, let’s move on…. ~ B
This page is going to be dedicated to my family. My mom, dad and 4 amazing siblings. We were a traveling sales family, we moved all over as Gypsies if you will, honest gypsies..haha! I am REALLY close to all of my family and my blog would not be complete without them. They will be in many of my posts so I thought I should introduce them. So, I will introduce them to you, one at a time. I would love to tell you about them all right now but there is absolutely no way I could do that in one post. They are all too unique for a mere sentence or two:))))
I will in the future take time to properly introduce each of my amazing sibling and My one of a kind folks:) For now I just want to say…..
I AM SO GRATEFUL for each and every one of my family members. There have been moments ( maybe many) that I wished they/things were different. But I realize now that they are what makes me who I am and I need them. NO ONE can love you like a Sister, a brother, or a parent.
The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another’s desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them.
I’ll start with Mic, the youngest of the five. She was born 6 weeks before My mom would have open heart surgery and 1 month after my 13th Birthday. We had no home, no money and a mom who may not make it. It could have been a very dark time in all of our lives, but then there was Mic. If I had to pick one word describe her it would be ….sparkle!! Everything about her makes you smile and absolutely lights up the space that she is in. I love her, I really really do!! She is always going to hold a very special part of my heart. I can’t wait to see what life has for her. I’m sure she will surprise us all.
There is no cure for laziness but a large family helps. ~Herbert Prochnov ( haha AMEN!)
